The Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute and the Valencian International University begins a partner relationship

Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya director and founder of Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute (MPI) and the president of the Valencian International University (VIU), Juan Manuel Badenas held a meeting to promote joint projects between the two institution.

It becomes the first educational center of Castellon which will own a headquarter in the american University.

The Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institutehas taken a step in itsinternationalization becoming the first school from Castellon which owns a headquarter in a U.S. university. The auditorium will be completed in February 2012 and bear the name of Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya and the Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute. In that auditorium students of the Institute will take classes, like the fourth session of the Implant Dentistry Program that MPIruns jointly with the University of North Carolina.

In early 2011, Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya made a donation to the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, USA) for the new "Dental Sciences Building". This grant will streng the ties between the Instituteof Castellon and University of North Carolina, strengthening programs that take place between the two institutions. Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya stressed "the importance of having an office in the United States, something that we are back to being a pioneering training and teaching of any specialty in Castellon. We are very proud of the level we have achieved and we will continue working hard to become an international benchmark for training in surgery, periodontics and prosthodontics, offering more advanced courses in Castellon that can be done in these fields worldwide. "

Thisfirst Promotionwas composed ofPolish and Frenchdoctorswho had attendedthe previoussessions in theInstitute (Castellon, Spain)under the supervision ofDr.FernandoRojas-VizcayaDr.HomaZadehand(University of SouthernCalifornia).Sincethe programopened inMay 2010 inCastellonby Dr.FernandoRojas-Vizcayaand the thenTourism Deputyand today Major of Benicassim,Mrs.SusanaMarques.
