With the goal of providing more information on everything that happens in the field of dental health in general and prosthodontics in particular, here are collected those relevant events and publications of interest to those people who are interested in maintaining a constant training.
Four-days advanced course: Esthetics and prosthodontics in oral implantology.

From
15 to December 18, 2011 was held at the Mediterranean
Prosthodontic Institute the second edition of the four-days advanced course "Esthetics and
prosthodontics in oral implantology". This second edition was entirely in Castilian and was attended by doctors from Alicante, Tarragona, Malaga and Jaen.

The course, at the request of attendees, focused on the theoretical side, adding to the same topics as Cantilever, Implants in 3 mm or complications in complex cases to the course topics and includes, digital clinical photography, determinants in implant prosthetic oral implant applications or complete restorations inclined all-on-four.

The lectures presented over the four days were:
Prosthetic determinants in oral implantology.
Different bone heights, different types of restorations.
Single implants.
Digital clinical photography.
Delayed placement in maxilla.
Fixed detachable restorations.
Immediate placement in maxilla.
MABBL Protocol.
Application of tilted implants.
Prosthetic management of soft tissue.
Temporary restorations.
Types of smiles.
100% Zirconia restorations.
Implants in 3 mm.
Cantilever.
Complications in implant prosthodontics.

On the other hand, Dr. Rojas also included presenting lectures in complex cases treated by him. Also commented on cases brought by the participants, creating a rich discussion forum in which they were different views and different ways to tackle the cases presented by attendees. At the request of attendees, the practice was reduced to demonstrating the application of the protocol MABBL (designed by Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya) on anatomical models produced by Bone Models and based on complex cases treated by the Doctor.

The next advanced course will be "Excellence in Prosthodontics on implants" and will be held on 4 and 5 February 2012, while the group of Russian doctors.
