Third session of the first promotion of the Implant Dentistry Program
Place: Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute, Castellon, Spain
Date: May 30th to June 2nd, 2011
Since last April 30 and until June 2 was performed at the Mediterranean Institute of Prosthodontics the third session of Oral Implantology Program, which has had participants from Poland.
The program, which began its first session on 19-22 May 2010, moves toward its last meeting to be held at the University of North Carolina, in Chaper Hill (USA) the next 8 , 9,10,11 August.
In this session, teachers Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya, DDS, MS, and Homa Zadeh, DDS, PhD carried out the latest theoretical and practical sessions of this program developed at the Institute's facilities located in Castellón, since the next session held at the University of North Carolina, where Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya completed his training next to the prestigious Dr. Lyndon Cooper.
The program featured in this third session, with a theoretical program which include lectures as "Determinants prosthetic oral implantology", "jaw prosthesis and soft tissue management", "MABBL Protocol" "Protocols of immediate placement and loading immediate bone loss, "" complete made in zirconia restorations "and" Applications of the new Astra Tech OsseoSpeed Dental ", offered all of them by Dr. Fernando Rojas Vizcaya. For his part, Dr. Homa Zadeh confrencias offered theoretical "Minimally Invasive Implant: VISTA for ridge augmentation," "Complications in implant therapy: causes, prevention and treatment," "Periimplantitis: causes, prevention and treatment" and "minimally invasive implant therapy: VISTA for soft tissue augmentation."
In addition, we performed a live surgery in which a patient is placed 6 implants with immediate loading protocol, participants can see both the surgical process and the process of the laboratory, thanks to the infrastructure that has the Mediterranean Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry.
The theoretical part consisted of practical sessions on models developed BoneModels produced by and based on actual cases of patients treated by Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya throughout his career. These practical sessions will be developed and applied MABBL protocol and the protocols of immediate placement and immediate loading of bone with reduction, with particular interest in both cases the cosmetic result is achieved on patients.
This third session of Oral Implantology Program sessions are closed to develop in Castellón, leaving open the registration for the second and third class, which will begin before the end of the year
