MPI-Hong Kong Advanced Course on Aesthetic Dental Implantology

The last day was November 19th Advanced Course of Aesthetic Dental Implants in Hong Kong, China. The course consisted of a theoretical session hosted by Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya and a practical attendees on the model developed surgical and prosthetic MPI.
The theoretical sessions explained the little details that must be taken into account when performing an implant treatment protocols with special attention to loading and immediate placement, protocol MABBL, placement and selection of surgical materials with special attention by pillars, attention to cervical outline of the crown, etc.
For the practical part, with the collaboration of Astra Tech Dental, which provided proof that implants would be placed on the surgical and prosthetic MPI model and the restorative material necessary for the placement of these implants.
Attending the course was limited, with the aim to offer the personalized service which all attendees can enjoy the Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Training of Prosthodontics.

On November 17, 2010, Dr. Fernando Rojas.Vizcaya gave a lecture at the Astra Tech Dental Day held in Bangkok, Thailand.
In it, Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya offered their experience and knowledge in oral implant treatment in complex cases and prosthetics research, applied in actual cases treated during his career.
Of note is the necessary reference to material used to carry out implant dentistry treatments required by patients, with the quality of those minimum necessary to develop the role of doctors to implement such services.
Attendance at the event was massive, showing a great interest in the subject and a high level of professionalism among the participants.

Advanced Implant Dentistry Course in Astra Tech Dental Meeting
On November 15 th, 2010, Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya conducted the MPI Advanced Esthetic Implant Dentistry Course in Singapore, located in the event developed by Astra Tech Dental.
The one-day course included both, a lecture taught by Dr. Fernando Rojas Vizcaya, and a practical session, developed by the participants on the surgical and prosthetic MPI model.
The theory session was focused on the aesthetic aspects that revolve around the dental implant, taking into account even the smallest details, such as the implementation of the protocol MABBL, choice of implants placed, abutment location in patients with cases complexes, etc. This was illustrated with pictures of real patients treated by Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya throughout his career.
On the other hand, the practice session was focused on the placement of implants on the Surgical and prosthetic MPI model, designed exclusively by Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya, based on a real patient. On this model, course participants performed immediate placement and immediate loading of implants using demonstration provided by Astra Tech Dental for the occasion.
The attendance was limited, in order to offer personalized attention to each of the participants and thereby enable the personal and close that Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute want to give all students.

Comprehensive surgical and prosthetic implant therapy in complex cases

Next February, 2011, the two days advanced course "Comprehensive surgical and prosthetic implant therapy in complex cases" will be done in Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute, Castellon, Spain.
This course will be taught completely in Spanish.
