Mr. Enrico Steger, the founder of Zirkonzhan confirmed his participation as speaker in the 2nd Biannual MPI Symposium, on June, 3rd & 4th, 2010.
Mr.
Steger visited the MPI recently and make an agrenment of participation
and sponsorship with the MPI for the 2nd Biannual Symposium.
Manpower – for Enrico Steger, inventor of manual zircon-milling technology and founder of the company ‘Zirkonzahn’, this phrase represents the unavoidable not only to promote ideas but also to realize them with your own hands. Enrico Steger is convinced that, “The human being aims to spur improvements and trigger self motivation.” Also with manpower, Zirkonzahn transcribes the milling system, developed by Steger, which enables dental technicians to build high-quality constructions themselves. However, this system, with which a person still uses his/her own hands, was not secured with success from the beginning, competing in a now computer-controlled engineering world.
At his first presentation tour through Central Europe in 2004, Steger brought his fear, “that people will be convulsed with laughter when seeing the manually operated system.” Enrico Steger chooses his own strategy: He focused on the end result, and then demonstrated all of the accomplishments of the Zirkonzahn milling system. The second part of his presentation was his self constructed device.
Dr. Homa Zadeh confirmed as a speaker in 2nd Biannual MPI Symposium:

Dr.
Homa Zadeh is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern
California (USC) School of Dentistry and a diplomate of the American
Board of Periodontology.
He
received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from USC School of
Dentistry in 1987. Dr. Zadeh has also completed advanced clinical
education in Periodontology and earned a PhD in immunology from the
University of Connecticut Schools of Dental Medicine and Medicine.
He
directs the Laboratory for Immunoregulation and Tissue Engineering
(LITE), funded by the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Zadeh has an
extensive publication track and serves as editorial reviewer for several
scientific journals. He also serves on an advisory panel to the Center
for Scientific Review of the National Institutes of Health.
Dr.
Zadeh is the director of the USC Periodontal & Implant Symposium as
well as the USC Comprehensive Surgical & Restorative Implant
Training Program. He also maintains a part-time private practice limited
to Periodontology in Southern California.
2nd Biannual MPI Symposium Date
August, 12th, 2010
The official date for the 2nd Biennial Symposium of the Mediterranean Institute of Prosthodontics will be on June, 3rd and 4th of 2011.
Next year will again be held the 2nd Symposium of the Mediterranean Prosthodontics Institute, thus becoming a biannual event. Dates chosen for the international meeting are June 3rd and 4th of 2011, performing in their presentations by international speakers of the stature of Dr. Homa Zadeh, associate professor at the University of South Carolina, Mr. Enrico Steger, inventor of Zirkozhan's System; and Dr. Rojas-Vizcaya, founder and director of the Mediterranean Prosthodontics Institute.
