Four-days advanced course: Advanced aesthetic implant dentistry course
Place: Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute, Castellon, Spain

The Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute has increased its educational offerings with a four-day advanced course focused on aesthetic implantology, and is positioned as the audience, as the most complete course in this field.

The course was attended by Doctors from Spain, Estonia, Saudi Arabia, who shared knowledge and experience in a friendly atmosphere marked by cordiality and professionalism.

The course began on July 28, starting with a full day theory, in which Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya gave lectures entitled "Prosthetic determinants in implant therapy; startin by the end", "Different bone heights, different types of prostheses, "Digital photography clinical "and" detachable Fixed Restorations. " This same day, there was a small theoretical session on digital medical photography.

After
this day of course, visited the studio of artist Luis Bolumar
Castellon, who showed his work and made an explanation of the different
types of engravings made in this study. When finished, the artist gave
to each of the attendees a little engraving each of the visitors.

The third day began with the conference "Delayed maxilla," followed by "Zirconia Restorations", which were full mouth restorations using parts produced by Zirkonzahn zirconium. Subsequently, provisional restorations were "Provisional Restorations," which was followed by the lecture "Soft tissue management", which was how to manipulate the soft tissue. After lunch, we held a practice session held in the placement of an implant jaw bent over, under treatment "on all four."

After completing this course day, there was the gala dinner, due to permit the presence of all attendees. This gala dinner was held at La Marina del Grau de Castellón, and it followed a small sample of Flemish art, which delighted the audience.

The final day began with a conference on "Smile Types", followed by the conference "Staged approach" and the practice session in which the treatment was concluded "all on four" started yesterday.

After
lunch, the advanced course was concluded with a symposium on everything
learned in it, as well as the possibilities of their application,
conincidiendo all attendees MABBL that the protocol designed by Dr.
Rojas has a very direct application simple and provides excellent functional and aesthetic results.

Next week will be held the fourth session of the Implant Dentistry Program, to be held at the University of North Carolina, which will include doctors provinentes Poland, and in which Dr. Fernando Rojas and Dr. Lyndon Cooper to graduate the first promotion.

"Aplications of sloped implants" which was presented several
applications of the new Astra Tech Dental Implant, the OsseoSpeed TX
Profile. Then
